OK, so just recieved my new MoBo. she had to be ordered open box due too availablity at the time for replacement. anyways, it has arrived today and guess what? ALL THE CAPS ON THE UNDERSIDE ARE BURN'T. ok now when i say "burnt" i dont mean brown and crispy lol but on the underside of the board it appears that these have gooten extremely hot or something and the shin on the PCB around them has now become a dual cloud. what the heck? is this a sign that this MOBO had some serious volts going threw it and should be sending this right back where it came from or is the "clouding" normal? if i can i will post pics later like i said they are on the underside of the board adn right now im building to see if it will even turn on. thanks

Well in all honesty I think your should send it back.
I mean open box fine.
Finger prints fine.
But when there is that kind of stuff under the board I don't think that its really normal...

Could be that that the board has been repaired and the caps manually soldered, this process can discolor the PCB if not done correctly (to hot). The board might work just fine though..................;)

yea, actually you nailed it i think Bio-hazard. boards actually a refurb. from EVGA themselves it seems not an RMA. and a lil googleing of my own seems to say the same thing, replaced caps will cause what i am seeing on this board. she is up and running like a dream right now, i cant put it threw the paces untill my ram is back from RMA land then i shall know for sure how well it will perfrom:grin:
