Hey,
I have a XFX 680i motherboard, and need some help.

Does anyone know where the chassis speaker connects to on the 680i? Is it the same place as on the 650i (lower left corner)?

Also, where does the IEEE 1394 internal cable connect to? Is it on that place that says serial connector (number 15) on the manual? The manual is a bit vague on this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Not sure exactly which 680i mobo you have got but if you got the 680i SLI board (not the LT), the IEEE 1394 should be the red color connector next to the first PCI slot.

The 680i mobo does not use chasis speaker (I am assuming you are not talking about the Front audio connector for the speaker and mic). It uses the LED for error indicator.

there is no chassis speaker connection on the 680i ref, board they have an onboard speaker aswell as a LCD for error display
