Hi guys,
I`m going to attempt to overclock my CPU and Graphics card soon and hopefully as a relative o/c n00b some of you guys can help me through it all :-)
System:
E6420
XFX 650i Ultra
Gainward Bliss 640mb 8800GTS
2 x 1GB Transcend 667 (I couldnt afford the 800mhz after buying the 640mb card!)
Liquidsilver 500W Powersupply (will have to relook this i think)
I have a vantec graphics card cooler and the rest of the cooling is stock.
I don't know what else i would need to add value?
Thanks guys!

You may think about getting a after market CPU cooler, Intels air coolers aren't going to get you all that far in the OC'ing game.

I have the same MoBo and CPU as you.
In a few days a review will be posted of a water cooling kit and you will see my results with the intel stock cooler and aftermarket air cooler and water cooler.
Get a good cooler and you can hit some good numbers.

I think I know which one that your testing..........;) You'll be pushing the limits of the cooler trying to run a OC'd C2D I think..............:)

Honestly, the Nautilus 500 is one of, if not the best out of the box pre-built water cooling systems, I just wish that they would use a better radiator. I know people that have swapped the rads for either the BI or Swiftech jobs and have gotten much better performance out of them.

Actually I was thinking it was going to be about the Coolermaster Aquagate S1

LOL....Honestly I don't think I'd even try putting a S1 on a C2D and try OC'ing it, but you never know, it may perform just fine up to a point.
