no POST/BIOS screen...goes straight to windows.

? i downloaded the new bios BIN file from xfx...hopeing it could somehow help me with my firewire issues...

flashed it thru the NVIDIA System update.

now i just get a black screen until windows welcome pops up..:ahhhhh:

im a n00b.i have no idea what im doing. please help. :(

humm try removing the video card and then clearing the cmos. then re insert the card and see if you get anything. check the manual for CMOS jumper setting or pull the battery for 30 mins. this will set the bios to default. but still use the new flashed file. also what board are you using? does it have onboard video? is the computer outputing threw this untill windows switches over to the add on card. if so just switch where the monitor plug in on the back of the computer and then switch to use the add on card in BIOS as main video output.

ok..so i fixed it..tho it is wonky still..i reset the cmos jumper/took out the battery..

so it works now. but this is what happened...the POST showed up on my secondary display (my projector) and not my primary, even after i reset the seettings, and put it to clone.
so i had to manually swap the display cords to get the POST to show up on my primary monitor. wierd.

can anyone help with my firewire issue? cant run more than one firewire device, either through the 2 ports on my MOBO, nor thru daisy chaining...freezes my computer.
