I did just do an bios update today from P04 to the P05 bios. Did the update with the winflas tool and everything went fine. untill i rebootede the computer. All 3 leds light up, all the fans start but no signal to the screen. i have tryede removing some of my ram blocks, to se if that helps. It all did work before the update and i do belive that something did go wrong in the update.

My system is:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Xfx 680i LT
2 Gb ram (4 x 512 mb blocks noname do operate at 1.8v)
Inno3d Geforce 7950
WB Raptor Sata
Antec 550w PSU

Do you remember if it said that the BIOS update was successful or if it failed?

Try clearing the BIOS by flipping the jumper on your motherboard.

If you take out the battery make sure you unplug the power cord to your computer.

clearing the CMOS properly requires booting with no battery on some boards werty. LOL one of my boards instructions for clearing the CMOS are to remove the battery and boot for 30 seconds. shut down and replace battery. LOL

I have the 680i SLI board and I just updated to P30 bios with the winflash utility and when I restarted it wouldn't post. I'm going to try removing the battery and power cord, how long do you have to wait before putting them back in? When you jumper the CMOS to clear the BIOS should the power cord be unpluged?
