K well ive been dealing with a broken Fatal1ty 1010 for a while now. I made the mistake of playing Nox with it and it seems it didnt like being smashed hxc on the left mouse button. Soooo becasue Creative is gay and wont replace it i have to fix it myself. Anybody know how to get it apart?

Aren't there any screws on the backside under 4 white friction pads ?

Yea realized that. I didnt wanna take them off but i did anyways. Got it apart. Seems that the little micro button had made a groove in the plastic of the bigger button you push down on. So, super glue to fill the hole. WIll let dry and report back if works tomorrow. Until then, its sleep time. (Been up 24 hours)

what do you mean? is it a good mouse or bad? I assume its to play fps. I have been toying with the idea of getting this mouse, I've seen it around for 10 bucks, and a ultra-small mouse would be sweet to play CS:source.

man what schwarz said. honestly sounds shifty but i have done it with 100 mice, keyboards, even a vidcard once LOL. just go on over to say "staples" or something big box. they dont even care if you have a reciept. i have returned items to staples i never even bought there i dont think. they sold the same thing. bought it put the broke one in the box and returned. once took back a geforce 6600 without a reciept. it was from there. credited me the full purchase price with out a question!

Which site are you talking about ? fatal1ty site ?Noo THIS site Bjorn3d. I purposely put "Broken Fatal1ty 1010" so that if we can be Googled people will come here and see what i did to fix it. BTW Sush its FIXED!!! Yayyy lol. Had a mistake, right buttons super glue ran a little and this morning my right button was stuck. Got it free and now everything is perfect.

I have been toying with the idea of getting this mouse, I've seen it around for 10 bucks, and a ultra-small mouse would be sweet to play CS:source.Ohh no no no this mouse is hella awesome. Ive had it for a little over a year now (bday present last year) and this single problem is the only problem ive found. If you buy it, in about a month youll have to do what i did. But the super glue when dried is much harder than the soft plastic they use so it will probably last me a LONG time. Seirously, my gf paid 50 bucks for it last year and besides this minor set back its perfectly awesome.
As to returning it, its over a year old. I tried Creative but we all know how they are. As for the return fraud, i have a friend doing time becasue he got cought doing that. Its not very pretty, and since im handy id rather just fix it myself since i cant legaly return it. 3 dabs of super glue and my awesome mouse is back to working like new again.

return fraud? unless you intened to "fruad someone" you did nothing wrong. returning a faulty product is completly legal. if the store accepts the product back and was not supposed to. they ****ed up.

Trying to return a product that has either outrun warranty, or you didnt even purchase from that store is fraud. If they catch you, your in deep poop. You live in Canada, laws are a bit different. OUr GOV is extremely currupt too.

Sounds good PP & will not they want to see a invoice or something if yu go the service center ? As, you have not bought it, you don't seem to have an invoice for that. So, you'll need to provide a fake invoice for that which will obviously be a cheating.Btw, is there any service center for only Fatal1ty products ?

Ahaha i have a 12 gauge right next to me! (Pesky stray dogs)
Btw, is there any service center for only Fatal1ty products ?
Nope, you have to go through Creative for the mice and keyboards and X-FI card and XFX and Abit for their counterparts.

BTW Creative support blows HXC thats why i made it so Google can find this thread. It seems these mice all have the same problem within about a month or 2. And Creative wont do anything about it. So i hope it will also whore out the forums a bit :)

Hey, I bought an open box Western Digital Raptor from an ebay seller 2 yrs ago, and when I got it I found out it was an old burnt out IDE drive with a Western Digital Raptor label stuck on it.
That wasn't one of your returns was it?

Well I don't think it should be considered a fraud.
Depending on a few facts.
I mean we buy stuff today that costs an arm and a leg and manufacterers now produce cheap quality things so it break and you replace it.
I don't give a crap if its a fraud or not if a product I bought *(&*(& up then I want another one without buying another one.
I won't go through some *(&*& RMA that takes 2 months to piss you off and then they send you back your product saying well it wasn't defective in out labs.
SCREW you.
This way big stores like Best buy takes it puts in the return and don't get to deal with the kinda BS we consumer that buys them products go through.

Id rather take my chances with a legal RMA than to wind up in jail in my own country (Thinks of Jay and Silent Bob "where they toss the salad" loll lol) becasue of convicted warranty fraud. Im a very legal person, and dont want a clean record dirtied becasue of a little impatience.
