The more it goes the more I realise how good the PS3 is.
I was skeptical of the price tag though but the more it goes the more you can see the potential of the machine.

Ahahah 9 cells? Wow, ok.
Interesting....
Well I guess it's just another reason for you to justify an extra $200 on that PS3 over the 360. Not that I would buy either of them. But if I did I would definatly choose the PS3 over the 360. Dont know why. I guess you could call me a sony fanboy

FANBOY !!
No but lots of arguments coming from sony and microsoft fanboys do have a stand.
It all comes down to personal choice.

But consoles are almost PCs now.
Actually they are PCs

Like I said, I wouldnt spend my money on either of them. Just saying that if a console could do that it would be worth it to spend the extra money on it rather than spending it on it's cheaper counterpart. Part of that opinon comes from me having a biased opinion towards microsoft lol

LOL in a perfect world we all would use a PS3 or 360 to game and a PC for home accounting and such. then in come mac for the design. but hey, we dont have to listent to what those adds tell use@! we can spend $3000 on a PC to game with and turn our 600 dollar console into a PC if we want.

The point of a console though is for games not PC use. I can get a BADARSE PC at Wal Mart (sadly minus video card its better than my machine x3) for 648 bucks PLUS 19" widescreen. You dont get that with a PS3, only the box. A big ulgy one taboot.
Oh yea, PS3 is nice i guess, and with the PS3 Logitech multimedia keyboard its nicer but for that price buy a nice laptop seriously.

They may be a PC these days, but last I saw it wasn't legal to mod your console. If you do mod it you get locked out of their multiplayer network. Also simply trying to upgrade things such as the HDD without paying 4x the price for the special Xbox 360 upgrade drive require a user to bend over backward, although the PS3 at least allows other drives.
Oh, and running Windows natively on a console has yet to be done, I think so far they've only been partially successful using emulators (which about kills the performance). So really a console may be as powerful or hold the same components as some PCs, but it's still not really a "PC" in the definition of the acronym. It's not anyone's "personal computer", because in the end it is still Microsoft's or Sony's "PC", or "personal console." :ahhhhh:
