Guys I'm having a hard time cleaning out the D partion of my HDD. It's the partion that stores recovery files. I've recieved warnings from windows telling me it's not healthy to have only 10% of it empty. I already backed up my files and everything. But every time I come to access the files stupid vista doesnt let me. How should I go about accesing the files and deleting some of them?

It sounds like you are running an OEM computer like a Dell or HP?? If so the manufacturer should have the recovery software on your programs menu and it will have a setting to delete old recovery files.

Vista has it's own Disk Cleanup (http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/1264bc24-72a8-48aa-84e3-a355327139d91033.mspx) utility, it will give you the option to remove all but the most recent restore and recovery files.

Thanks Kougar. Yeah I'm still on my Hp. Got to get rid of mother board.

But thanks again. I'll have to get in there and clean it up
