something wrong with my xfx 650i ultra

guys, i am following setup

c2d 2.4 ghz
xfx 650i ultra
xfx 8800 gts
cm 600 watt psu
1 gb 667 mhz transcend ram
the problem is that my pc crashes while playing games .i was using xp earlier but the problem still continues . my pc still crashes, now in vista too. i have installed all the latest gpu driver as well as bios. also while playing games i m installing all the patches 2 prevent pc crash but its still goin on. my cpu temp hovers between 45c--60c & gpu between 62--68c. in vista i m getting a blue screen with some error after d crash. so plz help.

This KB article talks about changing the power management scheme from minimal in XP when suffering from game crashes, not sure if this helps in vista, but something to try at least:

Also try reverting to a previous driver version if the latest drivers give you errors. Do all games give you problems or just a specific one?

hi, i had installed the latest drivers bcoz my pc was crashing with earlier ones.games like stalker, splinter cell double agent crash after 35--50min of game play .but company of heroes crashes after every 5 min. all these games worked fine on my earlier configuration.
