Hi everyone,
I'm just looking for some input on this .I just ran 3dmark06 and came up with what I thought was a rally cruddy score 541 for what I have.
I'm looking for some tips on what to do, Tweeks or upgrade? I would really like not to buy a new m/b, ram and video card but if it's the only option ,,,well then . I built this heap about 3 years a go and has given me 0 problems.
This is what my system consists of.

m/b ASUS K8V SE Deluxe
Athlon 64 3200+
2048 of ram
200 gig ide 7200 rpm h/d
ATI Radeon 9800 pro 128 video agp
600 watt p/s

What could I do to improve my score ?
Thanks
Dan

hey
make sure you have the latese drivers, make sure your windows is not running a bunch off useless aplications, and if your windows has been installed for 3 years, a new installation might make it snappy again! clean your disk, defragment it, and get back to me

you always have the option of buying new gear, but what do you so with your PC first of all?

Everything is completely fine except your video card. Your getting such a crap score becasue the 9800 is a SM2.0 vieo card only. 3dmark 06 uses SM3.0 tests pretty much and thats about it. If your AGP i would say getting a 7800GS for farely cheap would greatly improve your score. CPU and RAM is obviously not a problem, look at my score using a 3000+ ;)
