Do you have anything in the PCI slots that you forgot about? Did you install all the drivers for your mobo's peripherals?

I used to get that same thing with my Asus A8N-E. Reboot your PC with the drivers cd in the cd/dvd drive. When windows starts up it should install the missing driver.

Guaranteed the drivers cd in and reboot will find and install that missing driver. For some reason the nvidia drivers don't have that exact driver.
It's more of an annoyance than anything else though. From what I remember, Windows will run just fine without it.

Here's a link which explains your problem: http://forums.nvidia.com/lofiversion/index.php?t3121.html
Does anyone know what the actual device is? Is it AIBooster?
edit: further research shows that it is AIBooster

If you can't find your drivers disk, download them from Asus' site.
About your hard drive being slow, did you reinstall windows and it's slow now? Or is it just that windows seems to be slower than when you first built/bought it?
The second one might just be XP getting lazy. Google around for "tuning tweaking XP", there's a lot of guides out there to help clean up your windows install.
And always check for spyware/malicious software. ;-)

darkorb, send me a pm with your email address and I'll try to send you the driver you need. I'm pretty sure the A8N-E drivers disc has the same driver on it.
