NVidia 680i LT BIOS update problem

Hi All

I'm attemping to update my XFX 680I LT board bios to P05 from P04. I follow the instructions given on the XFX website, but get an error message from Winflash when I select the P05 BIOS. It tells me to "Please select the correct bios". how can I fix this? I have even tried to use award flash from dos, but with no luck. PLEASE HELP!

C2 E6600
XFX 680i LT
Legend 8800GTS 640MB
2GB Patriot DDR2800
Antec Tro 650watt PSU

You may have gotten a Nvidia based board (nvidia Bios) instead of one with the XFX bios. If this is the case, you'll need to open a support ticket so they can send you the correct bios version for your board.

On that note, when you boot your system, what does the splash screen say the board is?? If it says XFX, there's another problem which XFX support will also have to help out.

yep, looks like that is the case. No XFX logo on the startup screen when it is enabled
