I just wanted to take a moment and thank Shannon for all his hard work here at Bjorn3D. Besides just being an XFX support tech checking in on the site, he has turned into a very key member of the staff here.
I just wanted to give him a big thank you.

Even though I only had to deal with an RMA once, XFX has been nothing but the best.
Keep up the outstanding work :icon_tiphat:

Shannon has been kind enough to take time and help me on a few instances regarding BIOS issues with my mobo.
He really defines the saying "going above and beyond".
October Contest Prize - WIN A DATE WITH SHANNON!
Seriously though, we are lucky to have him around.

COUNT ME IN !!!
But really yes I have had to deal with xfx support and as I mentionned in a thread I had made about the support XFX had provided me, they went as far as call me on the phone to make sure everything was ok.
It was a mistake on my part at that time but XFX still gave me the best support I could have asked for.
Thank you XFX for your hard work and dedication to bjorn3d and to XFX customers :)

Thanks Shannon for being here all the time and helping out the people. In my opinion XFX had the best support that I have ever seen at a company. They do have some nice people that know much. :)

I most definitely agree with what what has been said. I wish all hardware support specialists were as good (or dedicated) as Shannon. Thanks for the exemplary job, and constantly going above and beyond the call of basic XFX Support!

It is really great to know that there still exists a company who remebers where their profits comes from; the consumer. And going a little bit further really means a lot to the little guy.
So the extra cost of GOOD customer service comes back TEN fold with a loyal customer for life.

Yes, big thanks to Shannon/xfxsupport for his quick and excellent customer service. It's not often that one can deal so easily with a company to resolve an issue... XFX has a good one here, they better hold onto him ;)

While I am happy to say I have had no need for XFX support for my 7800GT, it is good to know that excellent support is there if I ever needed it.

As someone else said on here "Above and Beyond" and that is much appreciated and so damn welcome these days in which customers can get thrown to the back burner when their gear pushes daisies. I have dealt with you and you are the best damn customer support I have had the pleasure solving a problem with. Quick and easy just like some of the girls I know...lol. A very big thank you from me to you!

that's true, good customer service is really a treat nowadays, shopowners and the likes take their customers for granted.
That why I'm partial to my neighborhood PC shop. Its a few extra bucks over the big guys (t*girdirect and NC*X to not name a few...) but I've had broke or shorted out pieces that the shopowner RMA'd on the spot, and I walked out of there many times with a brand new box when I been abusing the parts. She (yeah, the owner is a sweet mid-aged russian lady) even RMA'd my nvidia 6600 after 18 months, and I f*cked it up trying to install a zalman cooler on it. The best part is, I'm competly honest with her, no scams. Just to tell you that good service makes me a repetitive customer. Honestly, the next graphics card I want to buy (or win:lol:)is probably an XFX just because I know I have good service and fast answers here.

I totally agree Scott. I haven't been a member here long and so far have only been involved in one XFX purchase for a friend's rig I built but I am thoroughly convinced Shannon and the rest of the crew at XFX deserve their accolades. From conversations on the phone to repeated astounding service I've seen here on the forum, they have proved they are THE standard of reference in the computer industry.
To tell you the truth, their warranty and RMA practices are so good it sometimes has me wondering if it entices customer fraud. The more I look at it though I realize every decision they make is out of their understanding that they can improve even such a stellar product line, never taking for granted any issues even if it's just confusion over an installation.

I don't know how come...but somehow I've missed this thread.
I would like to join Scott and thanks Shannon for his GREAT contribution and well-appreciated help he's offering for Bjorn3D members and proud XFX video cards and motherboard owners. :icon_tiphat:
I personally think he's doing great efforts in trying to help and offer good customer service to those who need it. ;-)
So...THANKS A LOT Shannon, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and WAY TO GO, XFX!!! :thumleft:

I wasn't happy having to pay RMA shipping costs on the defective board I bought, so Shannon made it up to me by sending me a copy of Lost Planet :icon_tiphat:

The game is pretty tight.
I know not everyone likes it but I thought it was alright.
I know it makes my computer crawl for some reason even though I have 2 8800GTS seem when I put it on DX10 and everything at full, I don't get a very high count for FPS...

Thankfully I haven't had to RMA or ask support for either the 8800GTS I won here at Bjorn3d or the 680i motherboard I bought for my new system.
That being said I am also thankful that should I need support, it appears their is plenty here with both the members of this forum and XFX support team.
Lost Planet is awesome. It looks better on my PC than on the 360. One question though, when playing multiplayer which button exits the game to get back to the menu?
