I heard there is software that lets you edit the bios through windows. Is this true? Will it also update the BIOS?

What is good software to monitor temperatures with?

Nvidias nTune seems to work pretty well with this board. It lets you OC a bit, monitor all the system temps and voltages. I like CoreTemp better for CPU temp monitoring.

I am not a big fan of changeing bios files in windows; I prefer changing them during bootup just incase something goes wrong.

USB flash drive bios flashing for me these days, safer, quicker and easier all round.

I agree with werty. I like changing stuff in the BIOS itself and not through some Windows program.

Been using a USB floppy drive for a while. How would you do it using a flash drive?

In one of these threads there's a how to I did (simple one) on how to make a bootable flash drive and how to flash from it. It was a few months back though.

I don't do anything though windows only overclocking sometimes with the ASUS program that came with my mobo. The reason I do not mess with it is because long time ago like 2 years ago when I updated my BIOS though windows, guess what happened. Windows Froze, and I had to get a new motherboard since the BIOS was bye bye. I did get a replacement for free though so I was lucky. :)
