XP ICS not working?

I have a dlink wireless 108g MIMO router, and I have used that before to connect to the modem. Today, I decided to connect my computer straight to the modem, and what a difference: from 3mb/s to 9 mb/s. Anyway, now, I want to keep it there. Since there are 2 ethernet connections on my 680i mobo, I want to share the next ethernet port to the router. However, when I set that up, it doesn't work. It won't let the router access the internet. The other computers connected to the router can access the router, but not the internet.
