View Full Version : AMD Motherboard with DDR3 support?
Are there any boards out there yet that support DDR3 for an AMD platform? I want buy a new board now but would hate to buy another once I want to make the move to DDR3. :frown:

There is currently no AMD motherboards that support DDR3.
Do not fret though because once AM3 rolls out these boards will support DDR3 in all its glory. :)

Yeah, any with a PCI-E slot and a G80 in it *Wiseass*.
Its not worth it yet, just like when DDR2 came about for system ram and the timings were bricks.
It will eventually be worth it. I'd rather have a motherboard that does support it rather than one that doesn't. It just eliminates the need to go out and buy another motherboard for support reasons in the future. You know, the two birds with one stone type of thing ;-)
