Right gonna start from the beginning, Had a XFX 680i LT mobo initially in april, however it had the sqeak from the CPU issue, did an RMA, got a replacement 2 weeks later, it was fine, no noise, overclocked fine, ran cpuz, orthos for hours i was happy. For the past 3 weeks now i have had constant freezing up in windows or random BSOD, earlier this morning I had the Following BSOD Error :

IRQ_NOT LESS_OR_EQUAL error message

Computer was froze, therefore i shut it down via the power switch.

Rebooted pc, it seemed to boot, then it just froze during post(on the screen where it lists HD etc, after initial boot screen with cpu/mem)

So i turned it off since it was now frozen, then i turned the pc back on, however now it would not boot what so ever, and its been like that ever since.

Ive tried the following so far : replacing cpu(i got a spare E6420, as well as the E6600 I was using), replaced the ram, i had another old dd2 512mb lying around. I also attempted clearing the CMOS, i removed the jumper, put it on pins 1 and 2, then back to 2 and 3, and removed the battery for 5mins and replaced it (the power was turned off, power cable taken out).

Anyhow it still wont boot, all i get from the Mobo is a green light and an orange light on the mobo itself, all my case fans start up, however the CPU fan does not start.

My System Spec is :

XFX 680i LT Mobo, E6600 c2d, 2 X 1024mb Crucial Ballistix ram, 2 X 250gb Western digital Hd, XFX 8800 GTS XT edition gfx card.

my EVGA did something similiar i had to remove my video card and boot with another at first. nothing wrong with the video card motherboard was holding on to some wrong irq or something. my MOBO is POS though its a refurb. and it f*cks up at any given chance. LOL

Go ahead and start a support ticket at www.xfxforce.com and let me know the ticket number. If you live in the US or Canada I can see about arranging an RMA so you can send the mobo here for testing if you run out of options.
