Flashing bios with a booting device

hey guys I have a xfx nforce 650i and i whant to flash my bios but i don't find any way to do it without having windows install on it cause i can't install windows on it because i think my bios is to all ..... anyways how can i flash my bios without having to use a win utility like its given on the xfx web site thanks guys

You can add the bios and flash program to a usb stick. Here's instructions on how to make a usb stick bootable:

I've only ever flashed from a floppy but a USB stick would be safer since floppies go bad on me all the time.

Also be sure to BACK UP YOUR OLD BIOS.

If you happen to have a bad flash and another motherboard I can help you recover it without needing any extra expensive equipment. ;-)
