" Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650, and that it showed a lot of promise. Well after benching the night away, Kinc not only smashed the SuperPi 1M world record with the QX9650 running at 5600 MHz, he also completely rewrote the book on good 3DMark 05 and 06 results. The new world records are now 37,095 points in 3DMark 05 and 27,542 points in 3DMark 06. The key has of course been the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650, which was working like a charm at speed way above 5 GHz."

I'm not sure but his Phase change cooler maybe can handle the heat from that power hungry CPU.

45nm, I'm sure at that clock and voltage it barely puts out more than my Windsor.

But the rumors of Phenoms breaking 30k in '06 have been partly validated.

Haha yea seirously, go AMD!!! Of course, to get that high you also have to have 2 very powerful cards in SLI.
