Hi guys!

I'm sorry for double-posting (as I've already posted this in the "Classifieds" section) but I wanted to be sure that people will see this post of mine...:icon_tiphat:

I'm interested in selling a brand-new Ultra Products X3 1000W PSU for $200.

I've recently won this GREAT Power Supply in a contest and since I currently live in Israel, I cannot get the prize, as it is being shipped only to the US and Canada. :frown:

Please let me now ASAP if you're interested so I'll be able to provide your address as the winner's address, so you'll get the PSU directly from Ultra Products.

You can pay me by PayPal or Bank-Account Transfer.

I really don't like doing it, as usually I prefer to use products that I've won, but I really don't have much choice. :frown:

Please PM me if you're interested...

Thanks in advance,
zachig...:icon_tiphat:

I've won it over www.hi-techreviews.com:

I'm still waiting for someone to make an offer and buy it from me, and I'm also interested in replacing it with a nice 8800GTS, if some one is interested...:???:

I really feel sad (both for me and for the site) that I cannot get the prize, although I've already asked the admin to try and send me the prize to Israel and I'm still waiting for him to reply...:frown:

I really hope that he'll be able to do that and I'll be VERY THANKFUL to him if he does ...but I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

If you knew it was US and Canada only why did you enter? How long do you think Kevin will wait before you find a buyer?

I was going to ask the same question.I feel for you Zach but do you think, people will buy it from you without seeing it ? The best thing would be to just give an US address where you can pick it up from later.Just my suggestion though. If you delay much,a new winner may be randomly drawn again & you won't get anything.I wish you get the problem solved though.

I was going to ask the same question.
I guess you're right, but I was damn sure that there will be someone there (in the US) to pick it up for me (as it usually is), but this time there's just no one...:frown:

Yeah...I guess you're right. ;-) Thanks for the advice. Probably (if I won't be able to find a buyer in the next few hours or so...) that's what I'll do. Currently I have an address in the states (I still own an apartment there) but no one is there, but I might find someone else that will eventually pick up the package for me...;-)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that somehow I'll manage to get it...like I said, probably it'll be through someone I know in the US, but then I guess it'll take some time till I'll actually get it delivered to Israel...maybe in about 2-3 weeks from now!

If they sent it to your apartment, would the delivery guy drop it off or take it back to the post office because you weren't there to sign it? And wouldn't the post office hold it for a limited number of days before sending it back?

GUYS!!! JUST FORGET ABOUT IT ALL!!!

I'VE JUST BEEN INFORMED BY THE ADMIN (of the site where I've won the PSU) THAT I'VE BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM THE CONTEST. :ahhhhh:

He said that since I was already in Israel by the time I registered to the contest (he saw my IP), I'm DISQUALIFIED and he will award another winner with the prize. :frown:

Now...I didn't know I was doing something wrong as I planned that someone I know (in the US) will get the prize for me.

I told him I'm sorry and at least I'm glad that someone else will enjoy this GREAT PSU...;-)

So...NO WORRIES anymore...and also NO PSU...:icon_tiphat:

You don't seem too frustrated though Zach...
Like I said in the other thread rules are rules even though they can be hard to take sometimes :(

Theres no reason to make two posts about this zachig since it ain't exactly pressing news.

Yes rules are rules and it ain't that hard to understand them.

I planned that someone I know (in the US) will get the prize for me.
This is probably something you shouldn't have mentioned which most likely screwed you over.

Damn it! That's too bad....I would have bought it off of you. I spilled coke on my last one the exact same model and would have paid $200 for it no problem at all. I loved that PSU and would not mind having another cheaper that is for sure.

Yeah...I was pretty sure people will be interested in buying it for $200...but...never mind...;-)

Yeah I know, I've already apologized for double-posting, I was just so eager to sell it, but now I'm not selling it nor getting it...

Anyway, it's already over and I'm trying to forget about it...:icon_tiphat:
