Crysis single player demo is DX10 but the Multiplayer beta is DX9

We got a confirmation that Crysis beta multiplayer is actually a version for Windows XP and therefore supports only DirectX 9. A few sources have confirmed that if you want to see the real thing than you will have to wait for a single player demo or the final game.

EA and Crytek together with Nvidia as this is one of the key The Way Its Meant To be Played games have a few secrets for the last minute and some things that will be featured in the final game will included some effects that will be seen for the first time in the game.

It will be fun to see it and we simply hope that it will look even better but even the demo we've played back at January 2007 was really impressive.

UT3 gets its System Specs

Strange graphics card requirements:-

"Midway and Epic games have issued the PC hardware requirements for the upcoming Unreal Tournament sequel. Everything sounds nice, except the graphics card requirements, which are a bit strange. Take a look for yourself.

Minimum System Requirements:-

* Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
* 2.0+ GHz Single Core Processor
* 512 Mbytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Recommended System Requirements:-

* 2.4+ GHz Dual Core Processor
* 1 GBytes of System RAM
* NVIDIA 7800GTX+ or ATI x1300+ Video Card
* 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

The Nvidia 6200 and the ATI Radeon 9600 sounds strange since they're not even comparable in terms of features and performance. The recommended system requirements are even stranger, the Radeon X1300 is not even close to the Geforce 7800 GTX. Looks like Midway and Epic should take a closer look at those specs."

nope. Dont forget that UT3 was created on a 6800ultra. Or at least when they started production on it thats what they said. If its entirely true then you should be able to play it on low settings with those cards. Remember kids, the Source engine can be run on as low as a Geforce4. I think they where going for the same effect. More people will buy it that way ;)

Its nice when games aren`t only made to showcase new gen but to be appealing to everyone.
