Not the same author but he has been given permission to resuse the CPU-Z name and design with GPU-Z.

This is an extremely useful tool. As of version 0.0.3 it works on Vista. So much useful info in one place...

Everything is ok except the Shader Clock reportings. This software is reporting that my shader clock is 20Mhz.I think,it should be corrected if they release any other version or in the next version.

Like the CPU-Z you can also validate the results & can publish the results online.

TechPowerUp GPU-Z v0.0.4 (http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/779/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.0.4.html)

To whom it may concern: It doesn't work under linux.

CPU-Z ran fine for me under linux. I wonder if they can get this one to too.

Do you mean 7950's have a shader clock of 20Mhz ? What do you get then ?

I think it might be confusing the shader clock with the geometry delta clock. I know my 7900gs had one that was 20MHz at stock.

I think I changed it to 5MHz though so I could get a little bit higher main clock....

I just wonder why TechpowerUp is releasing new versions of this GPU-Z utility everyday.

Now, it's the 0.05 version :- http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/780/TechPowerUp_GPU-Z_v0.0.5.html

All versions are the same even lookwise.

They may fix little bugs that you don`t really notive.
Its still under the 1 so its beta and its a great thing that they actually release so many releases.
It shows that they are working.
