Hi, i've a strange Problem with my new Pc bought alle parts 1 week ago.. the system works fine but since monday my system freezes at random times. After 1 hour or after 5 hours but yesterday it freezes during boot !! after 3 or 4 resets it worked for a couple of hours and died again.... this morning a couldn't turn on system all is working fine but i can't get a signal on my screen... after turning on off on off a couple f time you can see bootscreen an than it freezes agani... sometimes i can get in the bios but most times it freezes there after some seconds too... sometimes it runs in safe mode or displayed checksum error or it crashes before any signal is displayed on the screen...
if i disconnect power wait some minutes and start than again sometimes i reach windows !!
It is not a heat problem because i run a Vapochill SE keeps CPU @ 7°C idle.
Before this Problem i've run a couple of times Futuremark and played HG:L and Bioshock @ Full Details so i think my Geforces are OK... and i can't imagine that bothe Ram modules are broken...

Following things tried:
Clear CMOS
Run system with only one Geforce tried both
only one Ram module tried both and different slots
disconnected all not needed

So i think its a Problem with the mobo..... Hope someone could help me and sry for bad english :D

What are the rest of your system specs? I wonder if your cpu isn't bad. :ahhhhh: Maybe you also have a power supply issue?

what do you mean ? rest ? powersupply i don't think because i disconnectet all devices and only with one geforce system isn't stable.... could it be a heat problem because after waiting a couple of hours i can acess windows for some seconds and if i try to restart it NOTHING HAPPENS.......

Could be a PSU or CPU problem.

Try reseating the CPU and reinserting any power connectors.

I agree, are you able to check the CPU in another system? Make sure all CPU, RAM and GPU setting are at stock (no overclocking) when testing.

I am thinking it is a motherboard issue myself. All the errors that is being described seems to be affecting the different areas around the motherboard. Was this system ever underpowered with another PSU?

Rust?!?:jawdrop: Ah wait a minute....I know what happened now....You forgot to put the dielectric grease on the pins didn't you? When you super cool a CPU condensation will occur and to prevent damage to your cpu you have to use dielectric grease on the bottom of the CPU to repel the water.

So it is not a heat problem for sure but it is a cooling problem. Funny thing is didn't your instructions for your 'Vapochill SE' tell you that? It should have and if it didn't I would complain to them.

Actually I just read your instructions and you were given some 'Heat Conducting Compound' that was supposed to be used for the CPU pins.

it wasn't a condensation problem the pins just overheated and burned oO and desrotyed the cpu.. hope i get a new cpu....

thx 4 help zip
