I'm in the market for a new case, I love my Lian Li G70 but it's a tad bigger than I really need...I actually looking for a case that could either be classified as a midtower or fulltower.

My ideal specs would be 18-20" tall. 22-24" deep, and around 9" wide. I'd really prefer it have a removable motherboard tray and easily facilitate either SLI or CrossFire. It should have excellent air cooling and built in such a way to facilitate good wire managment. I've been looking at Mountain Mods, Silverstone, and Lian Li.

I've been saving for this for a while and so cost is not a major issue, just curious what you guys would choose?

I would personally stick with a Lian-Li case and I would go with either one of the PC-6X cases, with the PC-65B ON TOP!

As far a I remember, all the PC-6X family has a Removable Motherboard Tray. ;-)

GOOD LUCK with your purchase, Miles...:icon_tiphat:

There is a whole slew of Thermaltake cases that would match your desciption in size. Not to mention all kinds of styles as well that are well built and very modable.

Have you looked at the Coolermaster Cosmo case? That is stylish and functional.

I think Thermaltake has a couple of new cases coming down the line. They always have good stuff.

Thanks guys, I've looked at almost every case known to man including the ones you guys have mentioned. The Cosmos has some HD cooling issues and some of the reviews I've read from people that own them weren't altogether flattering regarding the airflow in the case. I'll keep an eye out for the new Thermaltake cases.

I've probably reviewed 30-40 cases over the years and I'm one that believes that a case is the second most essential piece of equipment in a system next to a quality power supply.

Cases I really like:

Antec SOLO (Just too small for my needs)
Silverstone TJ09
Lian Li 343b
Lian Li PC-A16B
Lian Li PC-V1200 Plus II
Coolermaster Stacker (Old Models ST01 and 810)
Mountain Mods Twice7, U2 UFO, Horizon, and etc.
Anything made by Windy formerly Soldam in Japan (the finest and most expensive case money can buy)

Hi again Miles! :icon_tiphat:

If you plan on buying one of the PSUs listed above, then, I would personally go with either the Lian-Li A16B or the V1200 Plus II, while the V1200 Plus II on the highest priority.

And like you said, after reviewing 30-40 cases, you should be an expert already so I count on you that you'll do the right decision...;-)

Hands down I would go with a Mountain Mods case as you have a plentiful amount of room.

Personaly i think you should take case reviews with a grain of salt. Everybody has their own preferences and like i mentioned with the Sonata cases on this sites review sometimes things can be said that arent exactly completely true. You just have to look at them very closely and choose what YOU want. Use reviews for pictures and stuff like that (cause some sites dont have very good pictures of the cases). My personal favorite is Thermaltake but here recently ive been looking at the Antec P182 SE and the P190. I think with my AM3 rig ill probably have the P190 if it goes down in price.
