Just checked the site and it appears they extended it for a further 2 months. What the hell, the Dec 31st deadline had already passed when they changed it.

I doubt that the number of entries is low, which would cause them to extend the contest. I'm sure they at least mentioned it during each of their gaming events listed on the site.

I think, the number of entrants didn't met their criteria.They may have required a more contestants to take part.I've seen previously that organizers extend their contests when the number of entries are lower than their expectation.

Their rules say that any changes to the contest will be posted on their main website. They have not done this so they have broken their own rules.
