hey guys,

my system seems to have just died. a couple of months ago i upgraded my system(points to sig). the upgrade included mobo, cpu, ram and gpu, everythnig else remained the same. right so i put everything together, turned it on and it all went smoothly. a couple of days later i noticed that if i turn my pc off and turn it back on within a minute or so, it wont boot up at all. the fans would spin, then they would get louder and system would hang. the fix (not really a fix) was to turn off the PSU and let it rest for like 5 mins. then turn it on and wollah would trn on. i never had any problems whatsoever after it turned on. i have been talking to xfx guys about this for some time now but they reply like a week later with some noobish answers. now today when i turned my pc on, it wont turn on at all. i have tried everything.i have tried everythnig, took the thnigs out of the pc and turned it on removing various parts. it cant be gpu coz the same thnig happened on my system with x1900xtx. cant be PSU as it is 580W. i dont think its the ram as when the pc turns on everything works well. its either the cpu or the motherboard. i think there is something rong with the mobo but i m not sure thats why i m here. the xfx guys have not been of much help so i have turned here pls guys help a brotha out.

650i Ultras don't have onboard speakers and not connection for them.

I am guessing you do but it wouldn't hurt to ask but do you have the latest BIOS installed.

I doubt its the PSU but is it possible for you to test another PSU on this motherboard?

Also if you can I would try testing your CPU on another motherboard.

Sorry to hear about your issues. When you say you upgraded your Mobo, CPU, RAM and Video card, I take it you also reformatted your HD since its a new mobo? What is the ticket number at the xfxforce website and I can look into it for you.
