Well i brought a new comp like 3 months ago now from the very first day system crashed frequently while gaming after 20 mins of playing originally had vista used to get the display driver has stopped responding and has recovered! so went back to xp to no avail
game use to freeze but you could alt tab out to desktop, tried to underclock to reference card specs but didnt help temp was 84 C max, tried all the bios versions, every different driver new, old, beta, 3 windows installs so it seems software isnt the issue
the computer shop i got it from claimed it was the GFX card so they RMA'd that, got replacement now the crashes seem more random video freezes but game sound continues on, locks up, lines thru the screen everywhere no real picture,
motherboard was replaced psu was replaced (new psu has three separate 12V rails, totaling 52A ) ..(every peice was tested and replaced with another in a different comp and only thing that seems to cause it is the GFX)* claimed i never saw
So now it gets interesting the 2nd card is getting RMA'd now i have been using a XFX 8800 GTS and its still crashes :(
took em 6 weeks worth of testing and where back at square one!
To be honest i dont want to wait another 6 weeks for nothing at all its starting to get frustrating !
is it possible for XFX to supply 3 faulty cards ? or do i have other issues?

E6850 core 2 duo
2 gig TwinMOS twister
Asus P5N32-E-SLI-plus mobo
XFX 8800GTX ultra XXX
Creative X-fi fatal1ty sound card
thermaltake 600 watt psu
150 gb WD raptor 10k rpm
