On the heels of the 8800GT, BFG announces a beefed up 8800GTS 640MB.

Looks pretty nice. I expected more though lol. Based only specs, I still think the 8800GT would give it a run for it's money (IMO).

Of course, I don't know how much it costs..

A revamped 8800GTS on steroids sounds good to me. Its hard to say which will be faster but the 8800GT does have faster clocks.

Don't count out the bigger memory bus of the GTS
320 vs 256 can have a big impact.

The extra memory is nice too but mostly for large resolutions.

Soon we will be comparing the GT with the GTS Fatal1ty and the GTX. My bet is the Fatal1ty, but the results remain to be seen.

WOW! Looking good :grin:. Though if I was going to buy a Video Card today and I had only $250-$350, I would go with the 8800GT and NOT the 8800GTS, that's for sure. ;-)

:cry: i have a gts. But i got it before the new GT came out so its all good and I OC'd mine just so I can feel more special.
