A new vest from TN Games aims to bring more realism to the video-game experience by simulating impacts. In a first-person shooter, for example, the gaming vest, called 3rd Space, mimics the force of enemy fire.

I can see it now.
"Noob dies from heart attack induced by repeated sucking in BF2. Bragging to his friends of his 733+-ness earned him no points as he was repeatedly pwned"

Oh man that would be fun as hell. It would suck if your system froze on you and you are still in the game though.

WOW that looks amazing but imagine what would happen if you where run over by a tank or shot by a rocket launcher. Or better yet if you were playing crysis and someone punched you while they had maximum strength on. Of course I understand this suit will not hurt you but it is funny to think about it happening.

But isn't this stuff kinda of do-able in real life? Only draw back is murder is a crime...

The game would also have to be compatible with the suit. But that shouldnt be to hard to do.

But, would the developers want to spend the time and money in R&D to make their game compatible with an item that potentially only a handful of users will own? :?
Looks cool. It would definitely take FPS games to a whole new level.
But if it's like all other "specialty" gaming gear, then it's going to be expensive. I wouldn't pay more than $50-60 for that.

Right now it just isnt practicle. As well it would just take up a lot of resources Possible in 5-10 years this might become a reality.
