Ok i having a problem with my tsstcorp DVD+-RW TS-L632D ATA.. Up until yesterday everything was fine, but now whenever i insert a disk the drive tries to spin the disk for about a quarter of a second and then stops. The device manager says that the drive is working fine, but i cant open any type of disc. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance
PS im running Vista... if that changes anything

Although I'm not 100% sure, but from what you're describing, it seems that your DVD drive just died...:frown:
It looks like the motor is trying to spin / speed up, but is failing...:???:

In that case it should still be covered by the warranty so just get it replaced.

If you still have the receipt it should still be under warranty.

GOOD LUCK...keep us updated. :icon_tiphat:
And if the warranty doesn't work, just go and grab a new one, I know that's what I would do, as DVD-RW drives are quite cheap nowadays...;-)
