Problems with XFX GeForce 8800 Ultra 650M "XT"

Hello,
I have problems with my graphic card. I already opened a support ticket
at xfx. Support ticket nr: 116951

I used google and found this homepage where some guys have similar
problems like i have. I got artifacts in games. They look like black stripes and after some time the game crashes. I can still hear sound but the game doesnt work anymore. I heard about underclocking could help and it does. I underclocked to from 650mhz to 625 mhz and dont have any artifacts anymore. But now i wanna know if this card is defect and if it is, will it get more damage in future?
Btw i used different drivers and actually i have the newest. My system if recommended:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
MSI P35 Platinum, Intel P35, ATX
2048MB-KIT Corsair Dominator P8500, CL5
XFX GeForce 8800 Ultra 650M "XT"
Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

Sounds like the same issue im having.

I have seen it with the XXX version and we have a BIOS update for that, but nothing for the XT. If that does not function at 650MHz then are you able to exchange it though your retailer?

I already spoken with them. They told me that my power supply unit is too weak. But i heard from others that its totally enough. I think i ll keep the card
if someone could tell me if the card is not damaged.:help: I mean 625 mhz is still very good. How long will it take until i get a new one? Will they send me the new card immediately when they receive my card? I dont want to wait 4 weeks or something. What have xfx told their resellers? I live in Germany btw.
