Hi can anyone help please.

I have an ASROCK K8NF6G-VSTA motherboard running Vista home premium.I have been using the onboard Nvidia graphics for some time.I have just installed an XFX 6600GT pcie graphics card and it has not even been recognised as " new Hardware ".It will not run a monitor even with two monitors attached.I have downloaded drivers from XFX and the device manager still shows only one display adapter " Nvidia 6100 "

AS a test I installed an Nvidia 6200 pcie card which ran with no problem.

I believe the bios is set up correctly to share memory as required and primary adapter is set to PCIE.Can anyone help please.

Thank you

Ok,
un-install all graphic drivers,
disable on-board graphics in BIOS (There has to be no graphic card in the PC),
turn off pc,
put in 6600,
boot pc,
load newest N-vidia drivers.
