I have finally got my grubby little hands on a copy of this game. I am very excited to play it and such you may notice some changes.

These changes include but are no limited to:

1) I will be largely absent for the next 96 - 1,024 hours depending
2) Water levels will rise from lack of showers I'll be taking
3) I have trained my family to answer all my calls in the following manner. "Gregg is dead. Please call back later"
4) There may be rolling brown out in your neighborhood if you live by me. The PS3 won't be getting turned off.
5) If you live in my area the weather may feel more like summer than mid-fall. Again the PS3 won't be getting turned off.
6) Invest your money in Dominoes and Pepsi stock NOW! For obvious reasons.
7) I might end up being single at the end of my gameplay.

LOL, yet the first thing you did was stop by here to rub it in our faces you naughty boy. I was stoked about this game until I read the PC release was pushed back to 2008. None the less it looks to be worth waiting a bit longer for. No word on system requirements yet.

LOL. I waited until yesterday morning to pick up my reserved copy. I played it for about 2 hours last night after getting home from the usual Saturday running around and family visits. So far I like it. I don't think it's good enough to loose my wife and kids over, though. ;-) I have yet to come across a game that good. :-P

How is AC for graphic realism of the close range fighting? Lack of realism in close combat fighting is one of my pet peeves with most RPGs. There's a lack of feeling that you're actually contacting the opponent with your weapon and of course the gore effects too aren't very real usually.

Seems like it has pretty realistic movement. The parrying is pretty sweet. There isn't much gore to it, though, but the game is pretty fun, to say the least. My favorite part is climbing and running around on the rooftops. ;-)

I just got my copy of MoH: Airborne in the mail (USPS parcel lock box) today only 4 days after ordering it from Circuit City for $30 with free shipping. I'll definitely be using them more often to buy games. Besides that with the way they ship it you don't have to worry about being there when it arrives.

Just beat the game the other night.

O M F G it was sweeeet. I sooo got into the character. The ending is sweet and this game is a planned trilogy so I hope the next 2 will live up to this awesomeness.

Oh i have a question. Are one of his fingers missing. The one where the blade comes out of.

'Amp!'

The right of passage when you become a member of the Assassins is to have the ring finger on your left hand severed.

This is to allow your hidden blade room to extend without becoming a hazard.
And it looks BAD ASSSSSSS

The game is awesome and pretty addicting! I had no idea they planned a series, so that's good news!

Gonz, just out of curiosity, have you found yourself looking at real buildings and walls trying to determine if they are scalable? ;-) The game has taken a hold on me.

No WORSE.
I was at my sisters house when my little nephew got one of their toy planes stuck on her roof. With plenty of low points to grab onto I quickly discovered that I would be a very poor assassin as I was as graceful as a whale trying to climb that roof. LOL

I was just happy to get home and leave the building scaling to the pro's.

lol this is why parents dont want there youngsters to play or watch violent video games. Cause then the children end up trying to do what the characters can do.

Children are smart. Something happens when you get to be 28. Your brain stops working.

You are absolutely correct. That was never a problem for me, but, for some reason this game is certainly influencing my real world thought patterns. Kind of scary, eh? ;-)

lol. I hate the parents that over exagerate this tough, my mom doesnt allow violent games especially when I was little. I used to have to hide my games just so I could play them. My mom though that if I play violent games that I to would become violent. It really ended up getting on my nerves.

Violent games doesnt make you violent, not being alowed to play violent games does,

I saw my friend playing mass effect and the Xbox360 started to lag at some parts. Looks like they are gonna have to start upgrading the system for the newer games. Cause after all the xbox is just a pc without windows.

English teachers are very picky about grammar, better be carefull what frame of mind you're in when you structure those sentences bud.;-)

Then again you could pick a topic like ghetto life using urban slang and all would be good. A bit of dialog from GTA perhaps.

Assassin's Creed is actually a very fun game. I don't think it would be fair to compare it to any of the games that people usually compare it to. Saying that Altair is like Tomb Raider in Oblivion is wrong. Honestly, I do not see any elements of other games in Assassin's Creed. Even the stealth kills are not like Splinter Cell. If anything I would say there are elements of Tenchu but the likeness is fleeting at best.

Jumping from building to building is unlike any of the Marvel or DC city environments that the Hulk or Superman command. It is more down to earth.

Okay, people talk crap about the NPCs but I don't see anything wrong with them. Lots of critics complain about the story line but I found it to be compeling and refreshing in the extreme. BTW I love the matrix! I'm biased.

The character design is very nice. Just the way Altair looks alone is cool. He handles tightly and the controls are done well.

I have been gaming my entire life (since 4years old on 2600 Atari) and I like AC.

The HDR is my favorite part. I like to see HDR on the stone buildings and with all the people mulling about you actually feel like you're in a populated area and not swimming in triangles.
