Hey i went from a 120k/s download speed to 60k/s. But my connection is super solid and i dont have to worry about friggin FAP or weather. (Or spitting over the satelite to make it lose signal for that matter lol)

I heard that VDSL(50mbps down/1.5mbps up)will be available in my area sometime in 2008 :jawdrop:

When we moved here in 1999 SWB was in control of the phones, shortly after SBC took over and then Verizon. As soon as Verizon took over in 2002 we asked when DSL will be here. They said 2007. Its now the end of 2007 and their excuse is becasue of the school board. Sadly, its quite true. The old people in town are trying their best to keep everything away from our little town. Its not working really.
