My friend is at his grandparents for Turkey day and he hasent been on their machine for a while. So he decided to go through his old Trillian logs and came across this from 2005.

XBMaster117: Mguire: Dude i have no 5700 anymore

XBMaster117: what did u do?

PP Mguire: You know hwo i super glued those ram heatsinks on there?

XBMaster117: yeah

PP Mguire: Well

XBMaster117: they ripped the ram off?

PP Mguire: I was trying to put a huge ass cpu HSF on there and needed to take one off

XBMaster117: lol

XBMaster117: i can see it coming

PP Mguire: So i decided to pry it off w/ a screwdriver

PP Mguire: And when it came off it cracked the hell outa one of the chips

PP Mguire: I was pissed

ohhhhhh man, WTF were you doing with super glue? LOL

The card didnt have ramsinks originaly so i super glued some on there cause i was OCing it really high. Well i decided the stock GPU cooler wasnt good enough so i wanted to super glue a cpu cooler onto it. Ive done it before with other cards so i knew it worked to an extent. Well one of the ramsinks was in the way so i took a screw driver to pry it off. Was to tired to realize i wsa putting to much pressure so when the sink came off the chip cracked in half.
