Battlestar Galatica question

I took a look at the flash backs with Adama discovering the experiment with humans. This does not make sense, if Col Tigh is a cylon, as revealed in last episode Galatica.
I can understand how someone like boomer, chief, or starbuck could be cyclons because they are younger and false background could have been created, Col Tigh and Adama have been servering with each other for decades, if they were only experimenting at the time Adama was a pilot, how can Col Tigh be around all this time?
The humanoid cylons don't seem to age, they don't start as babies and grow up they are generated as full grown adults. It would seem that a Cylon as old as Tigh would predate the experiments found by Adama. :jawdrop:

Well we don't know for sure they really are Cylons. There is no proof except they all share the same hallucinations, it is a strong indication but not a 100% one. If they are, then this really is a big mistake from the scrip writers. Maybe they started their strike a bit early.

It does seem to fit that they might have had two programs going, the one from Razor was a dead end, so they planned to end that experiment and pursue a different path.

I am curious as to first what the deal with Starbuck is, since she is supposed to be the harbinger of the apocalypse. Also, what did the "baseship" (ie the guy in the tub that is the baseship) mean by "All this has happened before and will happen again" ?

So this was supposed to hold people over til the next season... IN EARLY 2008!!! This was just teasing!

I loved the movie though, makes it real easy to side with the actions of Cain.
