Been 1 month.

Well its been 1 month since I won the mobo from the competition and it still hasnt gotten here. I am getting so anxious I really wanna try it out. Anyone know how long it takes, my understanding was 2-4 weeks but I could be wrong. I live in Canada btw.

Don't worry the same has happened to me before but with all the prices I won from bjorn3d I wouldn't worry about it.

Well that puts my mind at ease. My friend keeps saying this is a scam but then again ive seen pictures of other peoples prizes so I was sure I was gonna get it, but like I said i am anxious and im very very bad with patience.

Your friend should come visit our forums and they would see we are 110% legit. Most other sites are only 108~109% legit but we get that extra 1%. :grin:

Dont worry man. Like was said its probably in customs and im willing to bet they are starting to get VERY busy. We have to send things 2 weeks ahead of time in our post and thats even for standard bills. And we use first class mail for our bills and still have to send our money early. (Or we get a call saying they come get our house lawl....or not lawl but you know)

My company sends out bills all over the world but mostly in the US. We have had reports from people in Canada that have got Novembers bill before they get Octobers bill... Not sure what goes on in the switch over from the US mail system to the Canada mail system but sometimes it breaks down a bit. but most always catches up. Give it some more time.

Anyways from every sites I know I have won things from I can assure you they are legit cept gamershell maybe and I say maybe.
Bjorn3d has sent me 3 8800GTS and a 6800GS and I have received all of them !
But it sucks that the mobo is back ordered though :(
From other sites I know are legit, Tagan has sent me something before.
Oh and I did win a Mushkin PSU too !! from bjorn3d or mushkin.
I think thats what I mostly won.
The only site I would be skeptical even though I may be jumping the guns is gamershell.
I won a Nintendo Wii like 2 months ago and nada.
I asked them what was going on and they said they would look into it but nothing more.
A few guys from here could list you a few more legit contest sites they know of.
And if I think of others ill let you know too.

I won a game there earlier in the year and it took a few months to receive. Then a few months later I won some Crucial ram and received it 2 days later, so go figure.

I think the majority of the wait time is the sponsor actually remembering to send out the prize unless it is being sent out by one of the admins then who knows how long it could take.

I've won a Super Talent 4GB USB Flash drive in a forum.More than 3-4 months have passed but didn't receive anything (Peti , Werty & also many others didn't receive their prizes too) & believe what, we are getting threatenings from senior members/staffs of that forum that, if we don't stop asking about our prizes,we'll be banned. :ahhhhh:

I don't really think it'll help asking about any prizes that haven't been received by any of the winners at this point since the contest ended 3 months ago and that amount of time alone should confirm we'll never see them.

I know to some that sucks as there are users who won a substantial prize, who obvious will feels let down, but things like this happen when sponsors never cough up the prizes they said they'll provide.

I`m still wondering if he received it though...but whatever.
But the thing I hate though is when let`s say the forum you won something from doesn`t return your emails.
I mean if they could just answer like well we are trying to contact the sponsor but they don`t seem to be responsive.
Or just let you know whats going on.
I hate it when they just ignore you all together.
I mean I don`t know what the situation is with you guys that won around 3 months ago but I mean they could at least just tell you, you will never receive them sorry our sponsor screwed us over.
