I am totally loaded with fans in my computer, just take a look. :)
http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n44/peti1212/DSC06430.jpg
120mm Rear Fan
120mm Front Fan
2x 92mm Side Fan
120mm fan on my Thermaltake Ultra-120 Extreme Heatsink
Memory Fan
2x fan on my video cards
135mm fan on my power supply.
What do you guys think? lol
The only thing that really impresses me is how I could cover up all the cables. Even if you look from a different angle you cannot see many cables. But I must say that it took an extremely long time to figure out what way to route the cables.

No fans on the top of the case? ;-)
Nope, not yet at least now. If I get my Thermaltake Armor Case that I have won at PCApex.com then I will have a fan on the top, a fan in the front, a 2 fans in the back, and a fan on the side (25CM). :) That sounds good doesn't it. The only thing that I don't like about fans is that it makes noise no matter if you get a silent fan, because the air hits on parts of the case that creates the noise.
Lets see.. I have:
2 x 120MM front fans
2 x 120MM rear fans
4 x 120MM side fans
1 x 80MM bottom case fan
1 x 80MM top case fan
That's excluding the cpu, PSU, and GPU fans lol. Can anyone top me?
Btw, nice case peti. ;-)

haha, you just got yourself a stacker didn't you. That is a really nice case. I want to get one myself. Wait is it really the stacker? hmm. And thanks for the comment. I try to keep it nice and clean all the time.

The only down side to having all those fans are cleaning the crazy amounts of dust from inside the case. It's like a category 5 tornado in there.

Yeah I remember that giveaway. It seems like the sponsors really dropped the ball on that one. That really sucks.

LOL this is great, i will grab the G/f new cam here in a few and shoot my case, I have a ton of fans too. ROFL, most of mine are custom mods though!! im actually planing a top-vent fan for my $30 case!!
Right now i have
2x 140mm
2x120mm
1x80
1x92mm
with plans for another 120mm venting out the top, i just need to find a way to cut the hole big enough for it  I use a hole drill usually but i dont have one big enough for the 120mm fan:frown:

I have a $30 case ive had for years too. Raidmax Scorpio for those who cant read. I used to be fan crazy as well but then realized its not neccesary at all. I have a 120 in the front and 2 80s in the back. If i evre have the side panel on i have an 80 there sometimes. PC dosent overheat at all and the most i worry about is my 4 HDs and my vid card but with the 120 in the front the drives are fine and the Zalman is pwning my video card. Im good. Im loving how all the fans are blue though. I wish i had matching blue fans but im to poor lol.
BTW Tyle mark the pics you take when they are from her cam. I wanna know how this Sony does before i mihgt buy one.

That looks pretty good. Nice cable management too from the angle we see. I am a big fan of fans too. I have a couple of them in my case...;-). I basically have a hovercraft for a PC. Fans in total= 13 (not including video card).

Ok, so i finally got around to snapping some pics of my case. All with my G/fs new sony DSC-s700:lol:
The first shot is a 3.5" Fan I made that actually mounts where the floppy would be ducting air from my front 140mm intake over my ram and too my chipset:grin: you can see it action in the 4th pic.
The 80mm you see on the case side actually blows fresh air down over the ram from outside the case and right in front of the CPU cooler.
all pics were Resized and are not original size or quality

Tyle6....Dude please tell me you didn't pay anything for that case! You got wonderful parts but that case is....well.....does not match the parts to put it nicely!

:grin:actually i payed 30 bucks for it as my first post states LOL.
The thing is a beast but with what i do to my case's the last thing i am about to do is spend 100 bucks to start chopping away.
I am just gettin started on this puppy:grin: i have a 140MM top vent planned out next. LOL
too put it nicely i get better temps with this case and my mods then i did when i was checkin my friends raidmax Smilodon out.
Function over form i guess is the motto here.
And damn right there nice parts:grin: thanks for the complement!!

Oh okay your modding it then. Might want to add in washable filters to keep the dust out. The more fans you have sucking in air and blowing out of the case the more dust build up. I use filters plus I sealed all the cracks of the case using small rubber moulding to keep the dust out. If I did not do that I would have a pile of dust in my case a foot thick before the end of the month. As it is right now I get almost zero dust in my case.
To some this may not seem important but once you have fried a few parts due to dust you tend to think filters after that. Happened to me including a video card. Not to mention I would rather clean a few filters then having to tear down a PC and cleaning each part.

I actually hate fan filters, pulled every last one out that it had in it and then procceded to cut the grills out of the fan slots!!!
I clean my case atleast once a month, full overhaul & cleaning.
If i have time i even remove the motherboard and heatsinks on the chipset and CPU to give them as thorough a cleaning as possible (this happens like once every two months actually).
I like my case to breath so i can OC the sh*t out of it and not worry about heat at all, even though i rarely keep an OC higher then i posted in the previous post.
Its actually time for the cleaning from the looks of it, I will post my idle and load temps as soon as i clean out the fans.
I true OCer says PHOOEEYYY to fan filters!!!

hehehe, Yeah I am not much of a OC'er. If I was I would probably water cool or go the Phase change route and freeze the sucker...lol. I actually thought about using a wine cooler fridge as a case and just may end up doing that. Someone did that and sent their pics to Maximum PC and I thought it was genius. Mind you I would probably need a healthy dose of grease to repel the water.

LOL, OMG me and a friend plan our game server build in a bar fridge !!! ROFL!!!
thing is we plan to teach it to keep stock of the beer levels too!!
Nothin worse then runnin' out of booze in the middle of a heavy gamin sesh.!!
As soon as i can afford some phase change that is the path i would like to go, just dont have the grande to drop right now on a good phase change unit. Im just not really a big fan of water, I feel you can do just as good on air if you try hard enough. unless you go with the phasechange you are always going to be limited by ambient room temps.
I am a landscaper:grin: budding at that, i am just breaking into the field actually. I hope my business takes off next year:neutral: money is really tight this winter. I need a job flippin burgers or something :frown:

I cant make my damn mind up on a card. and with the "9" series hopefully droping in a couple months i think its still going to be another couple months before i make a card move.

I have filters on most of the fans except the one on the side bottom one. I still need to get a fan filter for that one, but it is kind of hard to find it in the stores and I don't really want to get it from the net. BTW, I always clean it maybe every week, so I keep a look out for dust. As a matter a fact I 100% cleaned it a week ago because I had to install the new Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme Heatsink, and that requires you to remove the motherboard.

find yourself some (;-)) pantyhose, strech it across the intake side of the fan, tape/tie and finally cut off the rest and there you go

For someone who's running his rig air-cooled and want to keep his system cool, I don't think it's too much.
I'm having the same case, and I'm using...let's see:
1 x 120mm at the front - blow air in
1 x 120mm at the back - exhaust
1 x 92mm on the side door - blow air in
1 x 92mm Vantec Tornado on the side door - blow air in (and A LOT of it )
1 x 100mm on the CoolerMaster Hyper 6+ CPU Cooler
1 x 40mm on my Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II NB Cooler
And of course, big fan (120mm-140mm I think) of my PSU and the fan of my 8800GTX working at 100% speed 24/7.
I say...the more the better, as long as you can bear the noise... :icon_tiphat:
