Sop Goise. just wonderin what temps I should be expectin to see, on my Q6600, at 3.4ghz, it seems a lil high, but I dont know, 1.4v on the cpu, but what can the spp, and mcp, and all that handle, what are reasonable temps/"dangerzone" temps, etc

After 6hours and 50minutes of burn in, without error checking(maximum heat generated) my 3.4ghz q6600 processor, was at 60degrees celcius, is this acceptable?, it still ran for another 5 minutes, when I got home

Sounds hot to me... if 67 is max for a P4 I would think it would be 55 or so for a Quad, or less.

that was only on one core, the other 3 were at like 58, and it was also 6hours 50minutes of full stress right? And if you don't know for certain, I would appreciate ppl who do know

I think that is just fine, maybe starting to get on the warm side. I wouldn't want to get any hotter.

60°C under load for a Q6600 is normal, especially since you have it OC'd to 3.4GHz.

I would get worried when it gets to 65-70°C under a full load.

I think that's normal. I have my E6600@3.2GHz and it never goes above 48C on maximum load , but it is not being cooled by the stock cooler, but with CoolerMaster Hyper 6+...and beside that, It is known that Quad-Cores are running hotter than the Dual-Core ones...;-)
