Do you see the Smilies on the side when you press the "Post Reply" button? If not then you need to change one of the settings in your "Options (http://www.bjorn3d.com/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions)" as your "Message Editor Interface" could be set to "Basic".

Click on the following link and scroll to the bottom and set your "Message Editor Interface" to "Standard" or "Enhanced".

Yes the smilies are there but I can't select one. When I hover over them the name comes up. But clicking doesn't do anything. It's the same with the text editing options! I am on enhanced settings

What browswer are you using? Try clearing the cache and cookies of your browser.

Also are you using any proxy to browse this forum ? Some proxy websites don't support VB encoded smileys.

I don't fancy losing all my passwords etc. I am using explorer 7. The smilies work on all other forums. Can I clear the cash without deleting all my passwords? I am also not using any Proxy!

Yeah you should be able to delete a single cookie entry but I am not sure if they are in the same location as where IE6 store them.

IE6 stores them in "C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"

Don't new members have limited abilities (and spells)?

I don't remember what the post count was for stuff though.

Thanks for the reply. I would think you are probably right!

With 14 posts you should not have any restrictions. Have you made any custom changes to the security of your browser?

Clearing cookies and cache shouldnt clear your passwords. If it does then Firefox FTW.
