Hi. My family will buy my older brother a laptop since he is in 10th grade. He'll use a laptop usually for school stuff and games. My brother likes games so I don't think he will like internal graphic cards. He is not a person who is going to play crysis and oblivion and all that stuff. Just normal range like world of warcraft and gta san andreas ( just an example) .Also, i think cpu should be intel, ram 2 or 1gb (which u recomend?), graphic card ( recommendation?), hard disk? (please recommend) ,brand (this too)? It would be better if you guys could just pick a brand an make a nice specification or pick a good model depending on what i wrote.
Thank you!

*sigh* "I don't think he will like internal graphic cards"
All laptop's graphic are on-board AKA internal...

I think he meant INTEGRATED graphics.
or IGP. Yes those are crap for gaming on. There are plenty of laptops with high end graphics and Nvidia just announced it is bringing the 8800 series to laptops. That is some serious Graphic power!
As for recommendations, I am sorry since I do not get involved with laptops I can not give you any advice.

Mmmmm I personally don't like dells. The only ones I like from them are XPS's and those are damn overpriced.

My best friend Jerry just bought an Alienware lol. Its his Christmas, Birthday, and graduation present all in one from his grandma and step dad.
Id say any cheap Dell with an Nvidia chip, Toshiba with same configuration, or Acer. If you had the dough id say get a Macbook Pro. Those things are hella nice. Heard you can put XP on them too.

Or get a cheap laptop and put OSX86 on it.
Honestly, whenever I get a laptop it's going to be running linux.
