It runs quite well actually. I could run everything at very high in DX10 (minus AA. No AA enabled) @ 1280x1024 with an average of 30-35FPS. It looks amazing.

Haha, just wait till you hear my sound. I have this really funny accent. :)

Man, I can't export it without getting a huge file and if I lower the resolution it looks like crap, I'll try something else. Be back soon. :)

Your accent isn't that weird. Now my uncle from Germany on the other hand, well, that's a different story.

So do you know how much performance increase would you get if you would swap those 4GB of 533Mhz memory with 4GB of 1200Mhz memory? I am just wondering

You know, I'm not really sure. There should be pretty noticable difference in overall computing speed. Gaming would probably be out of this world with 4Gb's of DDR2 1066 RAM and a Phenom @ 3Ghz.

The Phenom wouldnt be any faster than your X2 really except on Crysis. But i really doubt the game uses all 4 cores.

peti1212, your computer is not loud, it sounds like a boeing 747 @ takeoff:grin: or was that a semi truck parked in front of your house ?

Well dual cores are generally faster when it comes to gaming at the moment. I think that's due to the fact most games haven't been optimized for quad cores yet. Crysis on the other hand, does utilize all four cores. Hence, a pretty big performance boost when using a quad in that particular game. Consider it an upgrade in preperation for the future.

Whoever is in the market for a cpu now would be crazy not to get one at the prices they're at today. Overall computing is just faster when using a quad.
