Do you have a budget? If you don't then the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme (http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/main_product_ultra120_extreme.htm) is just right.

Core 2 Duo CPUs are socket LGA775 so that heatsink will work fine.

That heatsink you picked up is the best CPU cooler you can buy.

I personnaly think the Zalman CNPS is 9500 is the best Cooler you can buy.
Ive ran a PD805 at close to 4Ghz (2.6 stock) with the Zalman CNPS 9500.
One more very good and cheap cooler you can get is the Gigabyte G power pro that is said to perform as good as the Zalman CNPS.

If you have the money to spend then get yourself Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (best air based CPU cooler) or buy Zalman CNPS 9500.

Yes, the CNPS9500 is a good cooler, but I wouldn't say its the best. I think its pretty widely accepted the Ultra-120 Extreme takes that crown.

So Pk3, thats a good cooler and you won't be dissatisfied. ;)

I agree you can not go wrong with a Zalman 9500.
