How th fuc|< does rivatuner work

Hey guys, how the f*** does riva tuner work, I can't for the life of me figure it out, all I want is a ****ing slidey bar, and an option to load settings on startup, ****, the readme, no matter what i search always goes to the same thing

Did you access the overclocking options by clicking of the drivers setting arrow thingy as shown?

Now that most of the face palming is done on my part, why won't it detect the default values despite me having done the restart and all that yazz, its b/c of the 8800gt, isnt it, isnt it?

Make sure you are using RivaTuner 2.06

Previous versions do not support the 8800GT

Moreso make sure you're running Vista in 'Allow non-certified drivers' mode, which means you have to F8 every startup and select it, but you should be using 'sleep' anyway.

After I installed the second 8800gt, and put in the SLI drivers it worked perfectly, so I am happy, this second 8800gt has only made my system more stable, which is actually nice. :D

what exactly do you need help with ? i have an ati rivatuning guide up and running . i havnt quite gotten to the nvidia side of the fence yet .


heres both of my guides . as soon as i can get on my dads comp with the nvidia card i will make a nvidia guide ..

ati and nvidia overclock a lil differently in rivatuner ( mostly its where whats what is located . Ati is low level and Nvidia is driver level .
