Support System is extremely scary.

Being that my IT business I install a lot of software. Symantec is one of my software that I purchase. Well my computer has had several installs so I exceeded the activation amounts. Well I have to call all the time for Windows and is very easy so this should be quick and painless.

Symantec though they actually ask me to access my computer through a online website. I was like WTF but I went with it. They took control of my computer and did the tech support from there. Well we did get it worked out. Though taking over my computer and seeing my desktop having momentary access to my personal information well is very scary.
This was very intrusive and I feel violated. Not to mention there India Tech support is not as well spoken as Microsoft. Very hard to understand.

Symantec has lost my business do to this kind of support tactics. They have lost a sizable contract for my future work.

Symantic destroyed my fathers computers.. Blocking all internet access.

It took 3 phone calls to tech support, and then one to some higher level manager and an emal to a manager to FINALLY get someone to give us ANY support, because they said it wasent there fault, then after alot of complaining they sent us DETAILED instructions on how to fix it, which means they knew how to do it all along.

Im on the same page with you. I will never use a Symantec product again.
