" Many people familiar with prior versions of Windows are curious what happened to the built-in Administrator account that was always created by default. Does this account still exist, and how can you access it?
The account is created in Windows Vista, but since it's not enabled you can't use it. If you are troubleshooting something that needs to run as administrator, you can enable it with a simple command."

Turning off UAC under the "User Accounts" menu basically defaults the user as an Administrator... CMD prompt windows are automatically granted Admin privileges and other menus assume the same privilege level.
I don't suggest it unless you run a secure system though.

Yeah, I think most people will end up disabling UAC or have someone turn it off for them. Mac would like to extend you a greeting. Allow or Deny?
I know on my Vista installs, the first things I did was disable UAC, activate the admin account, and install FireFox...

Microsoft is really in a Catch-22. If they got rid of UAC, there would be more PEBKAC users trashing their OS and then MS would get criticized for not making Vista secure enough. On the other hand, people complain that UAC treats them like idiots, ironic since quite a few of Vista's UAC critics don't know how to turn it off. Then we'd have to consider legacy support that's been dragging MS OSes down for a the last generation.
At least with Windows 7, MS is finally taking a new approach of legacy support.

I already knew about both the "Run As Administrator" command, as well as the command the "Fully" Enable Administrator Mode entirely, with all the problems I went through in Vista
But right now, everything is working well and I'm running (so far...) Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit FLAWLESSLY.
Anyway, thanks for the info Sushrukh. :icon_tiphat:
I'm pretty sure it'll come very handy to a lot of Vista users...;-)
