Hi
I had a 8400 GS and it used to run at 51 Degree C (per nVidia Monitor). I just got a new 8600 GT 540 M 512 MB DDR2 TV DVI PCI-E card and runs so much better than that 8400 GS. The thing that concerns me though is that nVidia Monitor reports the GPU temperature at 60 Degree Celcius without load and that goes up to 63 some times 64 (with load). Is this normal? I hope my GPU will not get fried. The CPU temperature is 38 Degree Celcius.
My Rig is:
XFX NForce 680i LT
Intel C2Q Q6600
2 GB RAM
CoolerMaster Stacker Case with 4 fans
Ultra Finity 600 Watt PSU
XFX 6800 GT 512 DDR2 GPU
Just wanna know if the temperature is ok. Also what is the XFX customer service number in the US?
