8800GT Alpha Dog Edition dosn't boot

Hey all,

I'm having a little bit of a problem with my system, therefore going around various forums seeking assistance.

I bought my system just before christmas, (specs will follow) and it worked fine for oh say about 2 weeks. Then all of a sudden come back from work to find that it wont boot up at all, no beeps or anything.

All that happens is the fan on the 8800gt spins like theres no tomorrow, and theres no post beep.

the specs are:

Intel Q6600
Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4L
2gb Corsair XMS 2 800Mhz
XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition
Arctic Cooling Silentium T1 Pro
500Watt PSU Built in

Any one got any ideas?

Are you able to test this video card in another system or another video card in this system? You can also try removing the video card then boot to see if you can get the bios beep letting you know the card is missing.
