Quick Dual Monitor Question

Hi,
I was wondering if the 8400GS will output VGA and DVI at the same time - at different resolutions...

The VGA will be to a computer monitor, and the DVI will be at a higher resolution for an HDTV via a DVI to HDMI cable. The HDTV is currently fed by an onboard graphics card with DVI out using a DVI to HDMI cable. It works fine, just cannot run different resolutions on the 2 outputs as is with the onboard one so seeking this help.

Don't know about that particular card but most will. If you have nTune, go to setup multiple displays, and make sure you select the option that lets you select different resolutions on multiple displays.

I don't see why you can't. Either use the nVidia taskbar icon and the nVidia control panel to change resolutions.
