8800GT wont boot - via chipset

Hi, just bought my new card today but it won't boot with my motherboard (ASUS A8V-E Deluxe)

Any help?????? 300 bucks!!!!!!

If you have a VIA chipset I first recommend you contact the motherboard manufacture to see if they have a fix and if not, then start a support ticket at www.xfxforce.com asking for the BIOS work around. Then let me know the ticket number.

I made two tickets:

one asking about the problem in german 134133

And the second telling them about a BIOS workaround.. 134253

So how do I flash the BIOS? Do I need to go to someone with a PC that accepts the 8800gt from the getgo so I can flash it?

Yes you will need another system to flash the video card in to get it to work with your motherboard. I have sent you the needed BIOS update.
